How we choose our Brands
We use four critical checks when assessing a brand for inclusion in our catalogues

Efficacy
If it doesn't work, your customer may buy the product once, and then never look at the brand again. We want repeat business, both for Avea and for our retailers, so we ensure that all the ranges we take in do what they say on the bottle. No results, no sales, it's that simple.

Ingredients
Only ranges with natural ingredients are excepted. As important are the excluded ingredients and these include petroleum based oils and minerals, harsh surfactants, irradiated ingredients and any genetically modified materials.
*We now stock a few semi-natural brands and will acquire additional brands over the coming months that are not completely natural but exclude the use of certain ingredients. Please check with us first if 100% purity in the product is a criteria for the brands you choose.

Manufacture
An ethical approach to manufacture, including due consideration for sourcing of organic materials, to ensure crops are not produced on cleared tracts of rain forest, fair trade produce is given preference and no child labour is used in the entire cycle, from crop to yield.

Animal Welfare
All our suppliers have firm policies in place with regard materials, ingredients and final formulations being tested on animals. Companies must either  provide documentary evidence of a F.C.O.D. (Fixed Cut Off Date) or certification from a recognised Animal Welfare group. Copies of these documents are available on request.

Conventional Beauty
Every now and then we come across a range that although not natural, excludes harmful ingredients and is suited to even the most sensitive skin, whilst offering results so amazing, that the brand cannot be ignored. Odile Lecoin is one of these ranges and we will over the next few months be looking to other high end beauty ranges that offer the same benefits as Odile's stunning brand.
